I keep meaning to pack earplugs in my purse so I can be more comfortable at the movies. I end up with my fingers in my ears/over my ears for half the time (sometimes the whole time, if it’s a noisy film or a theatre with the volume set higher than normal.)
Yeah. Ativan, a buddy, props to claim the empty seats on either side of me, earplugs, a sleep mask (for before the film starts,) loads of Advil, and going to see the film at like, 1:15pm on a Thursday. That’s the right way to do movies.
(If anyone has tips for cleaning butter and salt off your hands every time you put your hand in the popcorn tub, I’d love to hear them. I use wet-wipes, but such frequent wiping irritates the heck out of my skin.)
